beginner try to repair old HP 54720A scope

Do you have the service manual?

1. Did you try to reseat the boards as suggested on page 5-22?
2. Do you have the original floppy with the firmware? If so, then you may need to reload it as per page 5-15.

Battery totally discharged 0v , i have only 3.6 lithium same size to solder its ok to replace with this? Original its cr17450se 3V

Replacing the battery back to alive but calibration of mainframe gone need specific module 54717A
to calibrate it.

They probably needed to connect those pins but had a perpendicular track across there on every layer. #autorouted
