B&K 2120 calibration help

Good day eevblog,

My wonderful wife  just bought  for our anniversary my first  scope. I've  twiddle with all the knobs on this wonderful b&k 2120 analog scope and am very pleased however I have on problem. My time base is of by roughly 5% or so.  Basicly my waveforms  appear about 5 % short of where they should fall. I adjust the time circuit calibration to its maximum to attain  this much. I do not see anywhere  else on the circuit to compensate  this. using  the veneer controls only  make the waveform shorter  from themark.  Everything else is great. Any suggestions would be great. I only adjusted vr801 and set the voltages, xy positions and sweep length

Please note I am nothing more than a hobbyist  who enjoys electronics. I have included a link to the service  diagram. I will take a picture  tomorrow. .

Hello and welcome to the forum

Before settling anything, you must first know how to use the oscilloscope.

This is your first oscilloscope, if it works, use it as it is.

I know it's already too late, but stop tweeking all the settings, you're going to do more harm than good.
