B&K Precision 4040 function generator issues

I have acquired a B&K Precision model 4040 function/sweep generator with "issues". Does anyone know where I can find a service manual and/or schematic so that I can take a crack at fixing it?

email BK Precision, they're pretty good about information for their older stuff.

These are actually pretty good. Got a 4011 out of the garbage and it looks like they just stack more boards inside for more features.
Common problem is blown output transistors. If you get a stuck DC offset or distorted waveforms, I would look there.

Thanks for the suggestions. BK Precision just sent me the schematic and parts list for the 4040, so I'm happy. The main issue is distorted output on some ranges, so I will check the output drivers.

Can you submit the schematic etc. to The Boat Anchor Manual Archive BAMA  They have a lot of service manuals there, but are not indexed by the big search engines so their manuals are hidden.
