BK Precision 1803D Frequency Counter prescaler
rfengg:
Hi All,
I have a BK Precision 1803D Frequency Counter which has 2 inputs, HF (10Hz to 20MHz) and VHF (10MHz to 200MHz) .
It looks like the prescaler for the VHF band which is a chip marked as UPB-467 has failed with no output.....for the life of me, I can't seem to get any info on this chip on the web. :-//
Does anyone have more info on this chip? Or is there anyway to determine what the prescaling factor could be as then I could find another chip to do the same?
factory:
This might be quite recent, datasheet & manual are dated 2014, the BK website states this model was discontinued in Jan 2023.

Look at Plessey SP8695A.

Hello rfengg,
It seems that there's a second source from Fujitsu : MB467.
Check the pinout to confirm equivalence (please report).

If too difficult to procure, try to cobble something with an MC12080
