Blaupunkt CR-4096 motor cross reference
« on: May 10, 2024, 11:09:05 pm »
I’m looking for a blaupunkt motor part #EMD-58 in an am/fm/cassette unit.

Anybody know if there is a cross ref chart for alt motors?

It looks like Sankyo was a big source at one time.

Thanks,
Jeff

Is it faulty? If so, in what way?

Appreciate the response.

The motor is playing back at a faster speed.

I tweaked the pot to slow I down by ear and then noticed a bit of wow and flutter.

Just located a new belt to see if that resolved things a bit. Waiting on delivery.

My concern is the speed adjustment is close to the max, so wanted to l
Try to find a compatible motor.

Thanks,

Running fast is not a failure mode or aging consequence of dumb motors (those with no integral speed control). If the only provided speed control is the voltage, the fault is with that.
