Agilent 54621A with corrupt cal factors
« on: October 19, 2017, 08:12:29 am »
The coin battery on this scope is measuring 0 voltage, if I fit a new battery can I still use the scope or will the measurements be way off  ?

Given that it is reporting that everything is corrupt anyway, I don't think you have anything to loose.

I don't know if you are able to test it's measurement accuracy at the moment but I don't think changing the battery will make it any worse than it is now.

Going to replace the battery and see what happens, fan is noisy so I'm replacing that too.

Thanks
