Bm235 Select button issue

I understand someone has had this issue before as the button beeps but cannot change existing modes except backlight unit appears stuck in  ac volts, capacitance and resistance. I am unable to select continuity or diode check.
Was there a resolve for this .

Any info on this would be appreciated
