BM257 (Elma) in DC Voltage (Auto) - Just pulses the "bargraph" - Doesnt show 12v

My (out of support) Elma BM257 had developed a weird error, while stored.

When switching to DC Voltage , it just pulses the "Analog bargraph" , and just hangs there.



I tried to connect the probe pins to my PSU set to 12v , but it just kept on pulsing.
If i manually try to switch the ranges , then at one of them it shows 0.00v , the rest OL.
None of the ranges vill detect the 12v connected to the probes.

Other functions work fine - Ie. Ohm shows 0.001 when shorting the test leads.

I don't see any "Cal errors" when switching to DCv

Any hints ??
