Bosch MOT400 Repair OR Tips how to work without a schematic
« on: November 08, 2024, 05:19:59 pm »
Hello,

I have a MOT400 on my hands, which is an automotive ignition oscilloscope from 1985. The issue is, that it is no more switching channels and does not allow to change the sensitivity. The switching is done electrically and not with mechanical contacts as I know from my old tek 464.

Do you have tips how I can work through to find such a bug without a schematic?

Is it wise get an idea of what all of the components are first and then try to reconstruct the schematic?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

mldevw

Hi by chance I found an oscillating NAND Gate (that should not...) that may lead me in the right direction
