Boss DD3 guitar pedal no output repair notes

Boss DD3 SMD version repair notes.

Symptoms: No signal from OUTPUT jack, signal present on DIRECT OUT jack. LED working when pedal switched. 50mA current draw. Signal present on input pin 2 of SMD opamp IC1 input/output but not on pin 1 output.

Remedy: Replace opamp IC - SMD 4850 used. IC removed by snipping each pin while applying heat to pad on one side, then all pads heated at once on remaining side. Too tight to use hot air without a lot of kapton.
