Broken fan connector Surface Pro 4

Hi All,

Managed to break off a small fan connector on a Surface Pro 4 mainboard while replacing its battery. It is a similar one as the one below the broken off connector.



The flat cable has 4 leads and I'm wondering how to repair it. Bodge wires or do you guys have better ideas?
