Broken LCD Fordata FDCC1601K replacement

I have an old CD  player with a broken LCD Fordata FDCC1601K. I attach image.
I should buy  a replacement. Where to buy?
I can't find the spare anywhere
The LCD has the Hitachi hd44780 compatible controller.
All those on sale now have a standard height of 36mm while the FDCC1601K is just 24mm high.
Any idea? Help me
