Broken SMD LNA
« on: October 02, 2023, 03:18:47 pm »
Hi team!

I'm dealing with a 5.8 Ghz video transmitter that has the LNA broken (there is a hole on the case).

The problem is I can't decode the number printed on it and therefore I can't define which device is among the various available on the market.

Attached a picture of the same chip (but with different codes, so I suppose it is a time based code):

Any suggestion on how to decide these numbers?

What are the markings on your chip? (I don't want to be searching for date codes)

Could we see the chip in the context of its surroundings?

Markings, package, function / frequency band, and what I can see of the pin-out seem to line up with KCT8525D. Looks to be an obscure brand, IDK where you'd find a replacement.
I just googled "8525 LNA"
