Title: Brushed DC Motor Driver IC
Post by: sastuart on March 01, 2024, 09:58:50 am
Greetings

I am trying to locate an IC that has had part number removed.
The package appears to be, or is similar to Infinion PG-DSO-20
Assume the device is Full bridge or Multi Half bridge driver configuration

The problem so far is that none of the datasheets I have looked at have these basic requirements:

Pin 2/3  and  18/19       Output to DC Motor
     15                           Logic Supply
     17                           Main Motor Supply

If Anybody can advise a manufacturer that has a product/product range that meets these basic requirements
I can investigate the other pinouts/parameters

kind regards
stew

A picture tells a hundred words...

Often it helps to identify the manufacturers of the other ICs. For example, Japanese designers tend to stick with Japanese IC makers, so Rohm and Renesas would be two options for them.

Also, knowing the vintage of the device would help to focus the search.

The pin #1 dimple/dot may provide a clue in some cases.

Thanks Fzakbar for your response

I guess the board is manufactured in Europe and could be anywhere from 5-15 years old.
There are a mixed bag of IC from different manufacturers so very difficult to tell.
Cheers

I would look at STMicroelectronics.
