Bside ZT302 rotary issues
« on: January 10, 2023, 11:46:27 am »
I have one of these small but very convenient meters, but it has contact issues of the rotary selector. I opened the whole thing and I found out that the rotary dial is full of some fat . I don't know if I should better clean it or not. The traces are super clean and have no issues.

Any people with experience on these units??

thanks

To answer my own question for other people to profit from it, I had to add a little 3mm screw , a selflocking nut and a spacer to make sure you have enough and consistent contact. The attached pictures give a better idea

Thanks, I've had one since it came out and will keep an eye out for that issue. Mine is good for DC and Ohms but the AC is very unreliable.
