Cable Header for Flir camera. need a part number (found)
« on: July 02, 2020, 05:46:21 am »
Hi
I need a replacement for the beige header in the photo.  Apparently it is from a Flir camera worth about AU $7000.

Single row, 28 pin, 0.5mm pin pitch. I think the cable enters from the side. And it has a little brown plastic lock.

Can anybody find a part number for this header.
I melted the one in the photo trying to reattach it.

Any advice on reattachment would be good too.

I removed the ceramic cap, replaced the solder on the pads with 63/37 solder.
but still managed to butcher the header hand soldering the pads back on.
Very small amount of space between the header and the large chip.
there are also other components on the underside of the board.
