Hi, I'm currently repairing a submersible inspection camera that wasn't as water proof as the job required. The camera module itself (pic below) is just an analog camera so I can replace the whole thing. I'm wondering if anyone has seen this camera physical format before with an external thread and knows what it is called? Every time I try to serach for answers I just get tripod adapters using camera and threaded as keywords. External thread is M20. |

"Deep-water Camera Underwater Robot Underwater UAV ROV Deep Water Analog Camera 100m" Aliexpress is showing something that looks similar. No markings or brands on any of the housings? |

There's a sticker on the camera, but it didn't come up with anything. I estimate (wild guess) the whole rig was produced possibly mid 90s so not suprising there's not much info online. You should see the "pictures" in the manual. It looks like someone painted a picture based on a verbal description of a fax of a Nokia 3310 screen display. It runs on a PAL signal so I ended up ordering one of these little cameras built for a drone; https://caddxfpv.com/products/caddxfpv-ant-lite-4-3-fpvcycle-edition It's small enough to fit in the waterproof enclosure and compared to the old camera's 0.2lux min illumination rating it's 0.001lux so I think the client will be pretty happy with performace. |

If you want to take it further, maybe put your post in "Thermal Imaging and Cameras" section as those guys may be able to assist. Good luck. |
