Motherboard repair
« on: November 08, 2022, 12:10:04 pm »
Hello, I've got this Asus Sabertooth motherboard which has got the 1st pci-e slot not working. All 3 others work just fine in their respective x8,x16 modes. I measured 12v and 3.3v, clock, the capacitors on each lane, everything's in check. I resoldered the small part of the slot where the input voltages are but still no success. Any idea what could I check next?

Have you tried all the videos available in youtube? There are different models of your mentioned motherboard I can see.

how did it stop working? have you tried x1 card in it? First slot is usually directly wired to cpu, might be bad cpu, bad cpu socket etc
Who logs in to gdm? Not I, said the duck.
My fireplace is on fire, but in all the wrong places.
