Hello,
I’m a newbie both on the forums, and also to the fun world of electronics. I’ve always liked to watch tutorials online and follow simple projects along finding them to be rewarding. Nothing like building a working device yourself. Even if it’s a kit. I basically taught myself how to solder, but I honestly know little to understanding the surface and complexity of electronics fully.
A bit more about me that has me interested in this was when I started to make my own Paranormal gadgets after a friend got me into it. Which brings me to my question. My friend purchased something called a SpiritBox which is Essentially a radio which scans/sweeps through channels with preset sweet rates. Apparently while it was in his bag the LCD screen sustained some damage and bled. I’ve taken it apart and found what I believe to be a similar replacement part. My question.. and idk if this is even able to be answered, but can I replace this screen with a part off Amazon. I’ll include some photos but it’s basically a lcd screen with 16pins on the top. Idk if these need to be programmed to work with the board or what. I’ll include some photos and a link to what seems to me like the component that could work.
Sorry if this isn’t the right area to post and if this is an annoying question to some. Just looking for any advice
