Is this just an Aluminum Electrolytic or is it something special?

And what this is supposed to mean? On the Photo there is through hole LOW ESR electrolytic capacitor, you post a link to SMT polymer capacitor.

And what this is supposed to mean? On the Photo there is through hole LOW ESR electrolytic capacitor, you post a link to SMT polymer capacitor.

Crap, I thought I saw a SMT cap!, Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I am under the impression that a polymer cap has lower ESR than an aluminum electrolytic. Which explains the polymer link.

Polymer cap is not drop in replacement for electrolytic cap and may cause issues. Also it is more expensive. Also if used as replacement, capacitance should be reduced by around 2-3 times.
