i have a radio from a 06 silverado and i soldered in new led bulbs into the display and they shorted out when i plugged the radio back in. everything still functions but the lights are all out. i found that one of the bulb pins was protruding too far past the board and touched a backing plate which i believe grounded out causing all the bulbs to no longer turn on. i took apart the radio again and the bulbs still work when i put 12 volts to the display board separately. so something on the board got damaged and im curious if i can replace a component on the board rather than order a whole new used radio off ebay. i dont exactly know what to look for but i havent seen any burnt components on the board.
