hi guys bit new to repairing pcbs. anyway ive got a ceramic resistor on a pcb that has spewed its guts on the pcb. Red crap everywhere. the abbreviation on the resistor is 5w22KRK. would i be correct to assume this is just 22k or does the rk afterwards mean something different?

Yes replace it with a 5w rated 22k resistor, you are right. The RK is probably gonna be tolerance information.

R is the Multiplier Info, in this case its R means x1, dunno why they put both K for x1000 and R there... but well maybe they wanted to make it clear its a Resistor
the last K is indeed tolerance, stands for 10%
