R&S SML01 sig gen
« on: September 28, 2022, 10:02:32 am »
Hi guys

Hoping you can help. This unit has been in storage for a while and the push button keypad requires extra pressure or sometimes does not recognise the key press. Would it be best to try clean it or replace the keypad.  Any deals, help or options of used keypads in good nick appreciated.

Thanks
Alan

Hi,
I just repaired my R&S FSP Analyzer front panel keys.
First I cleaned the flex PCB with a contact cleaner. And afterwards I refreshed the carbon pad of the keys with a soft pencil (german: Bleistift).
Now, the FSP is working again. I have no idea how long, but it is an easy repair.

Hope it helps.
Br. Axel
