Clean SMD lcd ribbon cable connector

Hi to all,

I'd like to ask your suggestion on clean two SMD lcd ribbon cable connector.

The connectors are a female 80 pin SMD ribbon cable connector mounted on LCD pilot circuit.

Some liquid, has been entered inside the two connectors and caused a short circuit between ribbon cable pins; now I'd like to replace the ribbon cables, but I've seen that some pin of the female connector present burned tracks.

I've tried to use a contact cleaner and a tiny brush, I've reach the result attached in the pictures.
I'm not sure that all pins are still present on female connectors,  I am concerned that the short circuit had burned out one pin; so I'd like to try to better clean the connector.

Can you suggest me same products or techniques to clean?
