CMU-200 WITH BIG BACK PANEL HIT WONT PASS SELFTEST
« on: January 04, 2022, 10:21:50 am »
Hello all
Equipment arrived with big hit in the right side standoffs that messed with the back panel.
Fails fm calibration and all loop tests including internal in major frequency range due to great attenuation
Inner inspection doesnt show unplugged connectors or visual damage, but front endo board has alarm led blinking.
Have you experienced this before? Any idea what might have messed?
Happy new year!

Good morning,

quote from another forum:
"Most common issue from impact damage is X215 the flat 34 way ribbon cable that connects and controls A20 front end to motherboard A200. It pops out of the motherboard socket which prevents the A20 front end from switching causing loop back tests to fail. "

Maybe worth a try?

Regards,
JD
