I never replaced a HOT unless it was bad, they're usually easy to test and when I have had them fail it has always been fairly catastrophic, I don't think I've ever seen one fail in subtle ways. Also these days it can be hard to find suitable parts and there are lots of fakes.

Hello,

I have been off a while because I had some vacation and also because the happenings in my country.

However I really wanted to clear out of my mind that internal capacitor thing.
I found a website (am I allowed to share it?) located in Eastern Europe where they sold a replacement FBT (Diemen HR 46117) for only 10 EUR. I placed an order there before I left for vacation.

When I came back home yesterday the package was already delivered. The first thing I did was to test the capacitance between the ground pin 4 and the anode cup and this time I got a result of about 3nF, where the original FBT was giving nothing.

So I installed it and tested, and yes it is back to life!
I went on adusting screen and focus and now it's really perfect.

Here is a picture of the monitor plugged to the computer it originally came with
(Attachment Link)

And I want to thank again everybody here for involving and advising me to get it fixed  :)

Have a great day!

Congrats! Now that you know the source is good, if you plan to keep the monitor for a while, order one more and keep as a spare. You never know when you will need one again. If you don't use it later, sell it off for a small profit!

I don't think I'd buy a spare unless I had more of that same model monitor. Flyback transformers are highly specific, unless you happen to find someone who needs one for that exact monitor you probably won't be able to sell it other than to someone who wants to experiment with high voltage. That said, if they're only $10 that's not a bad price even for that purpose.

Thanks for the advises.

Yes I carefully checked the solder joints in the area before replacing the FBT, and indeed I found some ugly grey solder in the snubber area so I made a proper solder there.
The HOT and snubber have been tested, I am not planning to replace them for now, however the website where I ordered the FBT has spare HOT too (Toshiba 2SC5411 seems a good candidate) for 2.68 EUR.

I don't think I will get a spare either. Here in my place I did not see many CRT monitors left either in street sales, or even left outside near the garbage containers.
