Component from BMS circuit
« on: November 29, 2023, 08:17:51 pm »
Looking for the part inside the red circle.
1940589-0

It is from a laptop battery pa06062 BMS circuit with BQ40Z551 controller.
Covered with white glue, probably gone while removing the glue.

One pin connected to V+ of the battery cells.
Other to pin 7 of Q5K FY 095.
1940595-1

Probably a battery protection IC with 1K resistors for each cell but can anyone identify this IC?

The component may be a pull-up, or may be a ptc to detect the two MOSFETs overheating.

It is similar to S8264A but not the same.
Pins 5-6 are grounded.

I made more measurements and almost find the resistor's sequence.
But still the missing component at pin 7 is a mystery till find the exactly same IC.

According to the datasheet, the mystery component is a PTC, or a resistor in the range of 0 to 500 ohms.
