Component identification - 431k LT JH
« on: June 10, 2020, 05:23:30 pm »
Hi, I’m trying to identify a burnt out component in my cooker controller. It’s marks are 431k  LT JH. Made by VDE (I think).

I’m assuming it’s a varistor but I can’t find anything on the web to be able to purchase one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Should be 275V AC (430V DC) varistor. Replace it with one of the same diameter or larger if it fits.

No it isn't, VDE is safety certification mark. If you want precise model or actual manufacturer, post a photo.

Thanks

It's Raychem which was acquired by TE 20 years ago and TE likely continued to use that logo. Should be ROV07-431K which has 7mm diameter, or replace "07" with actual diameter in mm (05, 07, 10, 14, 20) if it's different. LTJH is simply a lot code.
