Any help with this component please.Ignore the artwork its bad.It seems to be a Diode or TVS .It is used in a circuit
With a 36B65 chip (picture typical not the actual circuit)).I tried a schottky with no luck it fries the chip. Thank you.

If the chip is getting fried it is likely the MOSFET is fried before that.

There is no chance schottky will work there, voltage is an order of magnitude too high.
