Computer PSU fan noise - bypass "warranty" stickers on screw heads

My gaming PC has a 850W PSU about 3-4yrs old on a 7yr warranty I think. The fan needs oil, so I need to break the screw seals to get inside. And I might scratch it up like I did to others.

But anyways, what's a sneaky way to get the glue heated up on the stickers, I guess don't try my soldering iron, or hot air station, I don't have a kettle and I'm not holding a PSU over a stove

Just peel them off and clean the glue residue. If it needs a warranty return play dumb. Just don’t scratch anything

If it's under warranty, ask the company what options you have.  It sounds like you don't want to be down for a few days/weeks while they repair or replace your current unit.  Maybe if you plead with them that you can't have long down time, they'll cross ship a replacement to you.  Otherwise, you break the seal, you should expect the warranty to be voided.

Wouldn't be the first time that you send device with a dried up noisy fan to warranty repair, there's "nothing wrong" with the fan as long as it vaguely spins and you end up paying for the "inspection" more than the whole unit is worth and maybe getting the device back six months later with the fan now completely seized up.
