Computer Screen Flashing on/off

HI

I have a samsung Computer Screen. It has autodetect if the signal is analog or digital.It just keeps flashing on and off I can see the computer connecting using either the DVI input or the VGA gives the same situation. The computer signals are fine since i connected other screens without problems.


Suggestions??

check the psu caps for esr,presume its a smps type?.

How old is it?

I've fixed many flashing monitors and TV's by replacing the worn out crappy brand low-ESR capacitors on the output of the PSU board with new.

Ripple gets into the processor board and freaks it out until you replace the caps to provide nice clean power again.

if ts led/lcd are you sure its not just the backlight going on and off?.
