Title: Cover removal Tek T935 input board
Post by: marnav1 on December 17, 2024, 12:27:54 am
Any suggestions for disassembly? I'd like to clean the switches underneath. Very little room to remove those nuts, its smaller than it looks in the picture.

I seem to remember having to resort to needle nosed pliers (horror) for the BNC back nut.  I would love to know what the correct tool is....  Don't forget to desolder the resistor first or it is easy to destroy.

For this type of work I use nose pliers and radius nose pliers. After loosening the nut I use tweezers to finish. Disassembly is easier than reassembly, so I wish you good luck.

I'm currently working on repairing and renovating a Tek 453. It's really hard work and a real puzzle. The T935 is amazingly simple in comparison  :)
