Crotech 3132 oscilloscope vertical line problem ????
« on: March 17, 2021, 04:53:28 pm »
Hi to all,
I have an old osciloscope ,i repaired it but now i have in both channel the same problem ,or maybe it works like that i do not know ,on my test signal which is 0.2V 1khz ,on both channels it should show 1 square at 0.2v/div ,and 2 square at 0.1volt/div ,but it shows just 1 minor division at 0.2v/div ,and 2 minor division on 0.1V/div,and 4 minor division on 50us/div, is this osciloscope works like this  or there should be a problem on vertical line?i have checked the vertical board but all resistors and others componemt works well . I add 2 pic of my problem

It's perfectly normal for an analog scope to not display the vertical component of a fast rise square wave, if that's what you're asking. Just the nature of how the crt works, the beam isn't there long enough to light the phosphor up enough to see it.
