CSA8000 won't pass splash screen

Hey everyone!

Our lab has a CSA8000 oscilloscope that boots up just fine but won't pass the splash screen. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? Have you found a solution?

Probably a dead battery on the PPC board. This should help:
