Datron 4920

Hi,

I have in my hands a good 4920 with full options, mv, DC, and other things.
Unfortunally it is broken, on the left display says "Error UR" with I didn't find in the manual and the right display is gone.
Thinking about a recapping and checking the PSU and the linear regulators.

But anyone know what Error UR means?

Error UR - is completely normal. It means "Error Under Range" - all ranges need a minimum input voltage to display a reading. It is documented in the manual.

Yes yesterday I found out this because the second display is dead.
I have lost cal data so it tells me to press some buttons that I didint know off.

For cal data it means only the calibration data of the procedure right? because I can recalibrate it

If your right display is broken you can try my solution, I tried it with a Datron 1271 but it should work on your Datron 4920 too.

Recalibration of 4920 is lot of fun, unless you work in high-end metrology lab
