Title: Dell L322X charging circuit

Hi guys

I am trying to repair my laptops charging circuit, but I cant seem to figure out what this particular smd component is (image attached), so I can order it.

As far as I can tell it says A9EA and 2X on the side (the is E is underlined)

Why has it been shorted on 2 pins ???  was it your work ?

No not my work, I took it to someone to fix but they couldn't fix it

looks like there is silkscreen under the part
but blindly replacing parts rarely works, what makes you think its bad whatever it is? and what did the previous person did to it?
