Not sure of the odds in play here... did a search on Craigslist for this model, as I have been hoping to find one on the cheap. Immediately found a posting 35 minutes fresh, within 20 miles of here. $20 for this $1100 AVR all accessories included and not a scratch.
Well, not sure yet if anything is really wrong with it. The Brit that sold it to me had it on a 220 volt step up (bought overseas). We had some storms and power surges the other day. He says it doesn't work. I don't have a step up yet, but I removed the SMPS board, and all seems well there, but who knows. No shorts on the PA section AFAIK. The drool factor is quite large... more later on what I find, if anything. Amazing Denon info..
