Denon SC6000 RJ45 Link socket

(1/1)

Audiorepair:
OK, so I need to replace the RJ45 link socket on a Denon SC6000.

After searching Mouser, I came up with this which is an identical size and footprint.
https://www.mouser.co.uk/ProductDetail/960-TMJ0162GDNL

Only it doesn't work (and the right yellow LED is the opposite polarity of the original)

A bit of Googling the data sheet shows the pinouts are clearly not compatible with the Denon configuration you can see in the photo of the PCB.
https://www.taoglas.com/datasheets/TMJ0162GDNL.pdf.  Section 4.1 shows the pinout.

The Denon has I presume 4 pairs of data lines.

Now this is when I realise that I don't have a clue about any of this, the RJ45 is not the Universal connector I presumed it was, and I'm not even that sure what T10/100 base blah blah is either.

So the question is, what should I actually be looking for in my Mouser (etc) search parameters?
What are Denon doing  here?

Audiorepair:
So I've managed to find almost what I'm looking for now.

This datasheet has circuits C & D which appear to be very similar with what I pulled from the Denon.
https://www.mouser.co.uk/datasheet/2/706/fastjack_gigabit-520265.pdf

They show Pin one as VCC, though in the Denon it is connected to ground along with pin 10.
