Direct current overflow issue in Keithley DMM 6500 digital multimeter

(1/1)

Hi there!

I am facing overflow issues in direct measurements (DCI) with Keithley's DMM6500. This 6.5 digit, digital multimeter claims to be able to measure currents from 10pA to 10 A. While this was working well for sometime, I have run into overflow issues for currents upto 3A range on both the front and rear panels. However, I am able to measure the current on the 10A pin. I am guessing there's some issue with the autorange function or the current digitization as the autorange does not work for the 10 A range (for reference see the attached image).

Also, I've checked the fuses on both front and rear panels, both seem to be fine. Has anyone face similar issues? Would it help to reset/update the firmware?

I am not sure if its hardware issue, going by the layout explained in this teardown by Signal Path
