Dispensing needles
« on: April 28, 2016, 07:27:31 am »
I am looking for a needle to put at the end of a syringe, or at the end of a squeeze-able bottle, length about 8cm=12cm (3"-4") small diameter (hence needle, not straw), but it must be plastic, blunt, and flexible. I was thinking max 2mm outside diameter. Can't find anything like that on Amazon but my search skills aren't that great.

OK I know what I want, but I cannot find it easily.

Know the WD40 cans that have a very thin piece of dispensing tube stuck to the side? This is the exact tube I need. It has the right length, diameter and rigidness. Short of re-purposing it from old WD40 cans I have no idea where to get it from. Any ideas?

Just wondering if a very small diameter PVC air line tubing is what you need?  :-\

The smallest I can see is like 5mm external diameter. I need something like a needle really, like 2mm external max.

Aerosol tubes that I've just measured are 2.1 -2.7mm so something like this might do the trick for you:  :-\

Tygon is very flexible, so I suspect this doesn't match the OP's requirement for rigidity.

These might fit the bill:

Sold by fishing tackle suppliers.

A pack of 10 tubes is around £1.49, for example here.
