Dual 30V/5A lab supply MCP M10-DP-305E equivalent
« on: February 22, 2020, 01:41:51 pm »
I have one of these cheap-built but good by today's standards linear lab supplies.

One output has no regulation can anyone identify clones-of or similar models that I may be able to find a schematic for?

The regulation PCB's are marked "DCPOWRE-1C". (Engineer was dyslexic...)

Thanks!

Thanks, the HY3005D definitely seems close at a first glance. I'll took into that in more detail later.

Thanks to Grandchuck for pointing me towards my PS being a not so fantastic Mastech clone.

I found a few crusted and rusted relay switching transistors, the current regulation problem was a defective UA741.

Moderators: Feel free to move from T.E. to repair if more appropriate.

The MCP M10-DP-305E and Mastech HY3005F-3 were probably heavily "inspired" by the GW Instek GPS-2303.

Hello there,
I am new here so please pardon my mistakes, i have the same exact device , can you lease help me find out the values of a few brunet resistors?
either schematics or close ups? please?
the resistors are brunet beyond recognition.

R1, R2, R3, R5 ,R6, on the front control board named MCP-36A

The large green resistors on the back plate.

If there is a schematic i appreciate it.

Last, the main power transistors on the back are expensive and hard to find , is there a viable replacement?

Thank you all in advance,

One of the schematics (the one with 3 relays and three TO-3 transistors) for the Mastech models has the right values for the power resistors at the rear.
I don't think any of the schematics I saw showed an identical (with optocouplers) control PCB though.

I'll see if I can help for those values.

Front adjustment PCB:
R1: 1k
R2: 470R
R3: 1k
R5: 470R
R6: 1k

Edit: I won't be trying to help newcomers much longer, I'm under the impression that they mostly loose track of their own requests.

Hi. Although I am new here, I have been browsing this forum for some time and I have always learned something. on this topic I want to make my contribution.
I have an MCP M10-TP-305E source that stops working when testing a universal brush motor.
I attach photos with the components that I needed to change until I can get it to work again.
Thanks to shakalnokturn for the contribution of the value of the resistances since I do not have the scheme.

Hi!

What about the right side?
Could you picture front panel with measurements like at first post.
