ECU injector driver MOSFET replacement
« on: January 07, 2025, 10:08:32 pm »
Hi!

I'm repairing a Magneti Marelli motorbike ECU, one of the injector driver MOSFET is failing(L1N06C). The problem is that the MOSFETs used in these ECUs are obsoletes.
Original manufacturers were Motorola and Intersil/Haris:
- Motorola MLD1N06CL https://alltransistors.com/adv/pdfview.php?doc=mld1n06cl.pdf&dire=_motorola
- Intersil 650036
Later Onsemi had MLD1N06CL https://www.onsemi.com/download/data-sheet/pdf/mld1n06cl-d.pdf but it's obsolete now.

Any idea what could be used as a drop-in replacement, because I see it's not a simple general purpose MOSFET.
Thanks!

The STD70NS04ZL is a clamped MOSFET for automotive applications in DPAK, and is very similar to the part used to drive injectors in the well proven open source Speeduino ECU.
