After having run into the limitations of my classic Minipro a few times (most recently regarding PAL and GAL devices) I started looking for an upgrade.
Fortunately a friend just so happened to have rescued a Chipmax 2 board from a dumpster
It looks mostly healthy, except for a missing DIP8 EEPROM (U17) which might hold the initial FPGA configuration? The device doesn't even USB enumerate without this part.
Does anybody happen to have a part number and data content of this part by any chance? It would save me lots of time and money so I am offering a small PayPal bounty to the first one to share a working image and PN!
Would also be super grateful for every other scrap of info, manuals, thoughts on their proprietary? DRMed? chip adapters etc.
