Eizo F35 CRT monitor repair
« on: March 30, 2023, 03:43:20 pm »
Hi all,
I've dragged my EIZO 15" CRT out of storage only to find out that it doesn't work anymore!
It's been years since I've used it so I'm not sure when it was the last time I turned it on.
When I turn it on the pwr LED goes from green to orange after some beeping which I believe is normal.
I get no signal error messsage, no OSD no image at all.
The computer I plugged it in recognised it as EIZO F35 and I'm pretty sure I hear high voltage at power up but I get no image and no other activity.
There is nothing out of the ordinary inside the monitor from a quick visual inspection, no bulging caps or funny smells,no liquid spills etc.
Any ideas on what might be going on?
The board is mostly unlabeled and there is no service manual.I wouldn't normally care for these things but it's a very nice CRT for DOS games so I'd like to see it working again..
