Hello, I've got a defective part on a board and am having trouble identifying it to replace it.
It's monitoring the current sense output of a BTS50085A smart fet through a resistive divider, and it's output is being used to control the enable pin of the BTS50085 (likely an overcurrent protection circuit) via a small mosfet.
The board is from a lithium ion battery bank with 24V and 48V outputs intended for camera power supply. I've searched every code lookup table I can think of and drawn a blank so far.
The pinouts are
1) output - control the gate of a transistor to enable / disable the smart FET switch
2) ground
3)
4) input from resistive divider on current sense output from BTS50085
5)
6) positive supply
There are two identical 24V output switch stages and I have found that the faulty side has broken down internally in the IC, pulling the current sense input down to 0V.
Thanks for any assistance.
