Faulty Andonstar ADSM302 microscope, firmware required?
« on: November 16, 2020, 12:38:50 am »
Greetings I have a  Andonstar ADSM302 microscope which served me quite well until yesterday. I had a lot of work to do and I left my lab powered off for about a month. Yesterday I switched on the microscope and it is stuck on the Welcome screen. I tried the reset button, power button and several USB supplies, but the result was the same. On the back of the board there is a 25Q32 Flash which I believe contains the Firmware. I tried finding the firmware online but no luck there as well. If someone has this microscope and a programmer I would be very grateful If you can generate a HEX or BIN file of that chip so that I can try to revive my unit. Also any other solution is welcome as well.

I would read your chip and look for a checksum.

Hello, I have the same problem with my adsm302 too. Do you have a bin / hex file for this microscope?
