| Find a replacement relay by pin spacing? |

Hi all, First post. I want to identify a replacement SPDT relay based upon it's mechanical properties (pin spacing). I don't find this as a search parameter at Newark. How can I find a relay with the pin locations as shown in my attached sketch? This will be a repair part for a 30 year old garage door opener. There are no markings on the relay (no manufacturer, no PN, no logo, nothing). Coil voltage is 24VDC. Contacts need to control 1A at 120VAC. |

That is a standard package relay. But nothing in a garage door opener is rated only 1A. They are typically cube relays like Omron G5LE-1-DC24 or Song Chuan 833H-1C-C 24VDC sealed, I have not tried Songle as a cheap replacement. I change all 3 - lights, motor fwd, rev. for the amount of hassle it is. |

I have 0.6 inch between the pins along the long axis. The relays you suggested have 0.5 inch on that dimension. Is that "as close as I will find"? |

Double check the measurement, I've never seen a longer relay in that form factor and with no markings or part number. |
