Finding a similar replacement for an older rocker switch
« on: November 06, 2021, 03:26:27 pm »
I've got an older TTi lab power supply (PL330QMT) whose power switch is no longer working. The original part number (61115916, DPST switch) seems to be from this series:

I've attached a couple of pictures at the end of this post too.

I have other switches of similar size that can be used with the same cutout of the front panel. However, before I replace it with something different, I'd like to see if I can have something that would also look identical to the original.

Anyone has any idea where (if) a direct replacement, or something that will be as similar as possible could be found?

Thanks.

Paddle switches seem to have fallen out of favor.
If you instead look for rocker switches in 0.5" x 0.75" you'll see a zillion of them for less than $5.
The good thing is that when you eventually find your heirloom switch it will only take you 5 minutes to swap out anyway.
