Fluke 117 "Err EEpr"
« on: January 21, 2024, 12:40:51 pm »
Hi,

My Fluke 117 is starting to fail. Sometimes, on turning it on it shows "Err EEpr". It is kind of an internal error, maybe a problem reading the EEPROM data embeded in the microcontroller. However, sometines it boots and I can use it.

Have you ever repaired one os this?

Regards,

Yes... Unfortunately, the microcontroller is defective and a new one has not been supplied for a while, so the device or card needs to be replaced.

Is there any chance that it's only the calibration data that is losing consistency and that rewriting it by going through a full calibration (adjustment) could help ?
