Hi, I am out of warranty for the Fluke 289 and I need to replace the super cap which of course is leaking. Any part # or equivalent specs for a better than the OEM Panasonic one? Thank you very much! Laurent |

Rebuilt my Flukes 189 with theses : https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/elna-america/DX-5R5H104U/604-1022-ND/970183 100mf or 0.1 farad https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/elna-america/DX-5R5H334U/604-1024-ND/970185 330mf or 0.33 farad I used the 5.5volts super cap, with a slight pins bending they fit perfectly .... be careful of the polarity, there an small "-" (minus sign) on the top and check on the pcb before removing the ''old'' part, dont over heat the pcb traces, and do an proper board cleaning after. |
